finish work on their Mesoamerica
Multimedia projects this week. The finished projects will be featured
in our PBWiki.
Since Mesoamerica is a 7th grade and not
a 6th grade standard, we will only spend a week on this chapter so that
students do get a basic understanding of the early peoples of the
Americas which will be studied in-depth in 7th grade.

Expository Essay
Students will write a 500-700 "How To" expository essay in which they
write about how to make something. GATE students are especially
challenged to make a multimedia or other project to accompany the essay
(such as a cooking video if the essay is how to make brownies).
Rough Draft are due Monday, March 9th.
Revised Final done on or uploaded to Google Docs due Wednesday, March
18th.
