Welcome to Mr. Curry's 6th Grade CORE Class.
This class will be a 2 period a day class for many of the
students, both Language Arts and Social Studies. Since teachers
teach 5 periods a day, one class will have me for only 1 period per
day.
As a real essential part of this class, students will be challenged to submit their assignments, take tests and create presentations using technology. We provide parents and students alike with online access to their Gradebook , as well as an online version of the Weekly Assignment sheet. Mr. Curry also created online tutorials to support students who need additional assistance and for the independent workers who are ready to accelerate their learning. Integrating technology will provide students with the skills needed for 21st century learning and future jobs.
Those students without access to the internet at home will have priority in using the numerous classroom computers I have obtained for the class. We will also make printed copies of grade updates and assignment sheets for all students needing them.
