Monday, September 6th is a legal and school holiday in honor of Laor Day, a day on which we honor America's workers.

This week in Language Arts
Objective: 1. Students will master the phonics skill of identifying short vowels.
2. Students will be able to identify and explain the components of a story structure,
3. Students will summarize the main plot elements of this week's reading story.
4. Students will spell the week's words with at least 80% accuracy.
