Language Arts Students will  spell unit words with 90%+ accuracy understand structural analysis of base words and affixes use Phonics: short vowels Use a thesaurus (R1.3/W1.5) Understand the different types of sentences Properly use subjects and predicates Summarize the main story elements of the story Comprehend the story at 80%+ accuracy Math Students will: round numbers up to the millions place Add and Subtract Basic Math Facts with 80%+ accuracy in timed test     Social Studies Students will: name and describe the various landforms name and locate the 7 continents, the United States, California, the SF Bay region, San Jose and the Berryessa area on maps Science Students will: Describe     Art Students will: create a map book of maps they have drawn that is artistically decorated     Technology Students will: Publish their first Essay using MS Word and including at least one picture or clip art. Work on a Power Point presentation that is based on their autobiography.
